Grilling Safety Tips

Common sense is your best friend!!!!! Invite it over for every barbeque!

Read all installation, operating and maintenance instructions thoroughly before use, installation or servicing of your outdoor grill equipment.

Keep venturi tubes clean. Blockages caused by spiders/insects and nests can cause a flashback fire.

If you smell gas:
*Shut off gas to the appliance.
*Extinguish any open flame.
If odor continues, immediately call your gas supplier.

DO NOT store or use gasoline, or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of your grill.

DO NOT store unused LP cylinders in the vicinity of your grill.

Loose fitting garments or sleeves should never be worn while using your grill. Some fabrics are highly flammable and may ignite and result in personal injury!

Never leave an operating grill unattended.

For specific grill problems, contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician.

What type of wood do I use?

Apple and cherry  wood chips work beautifully with poultry, game birds and pork.

Pecan  is great for poultry, game birds and pork for a delicate pecan flavor.

Alder  is a delicate wood smoke flavor which enhances the natural taste of salmon, rainbow trout and other fish.  Also excellent with chicken or pork.

Mesquite  gives you a sweeter and more delicate flavor than hickory, it's a perfect complement to richly flavored meats such as steak, duck or lamb.

Hickory  lends a pungent, smoky, bacon-like flavor.  Excellent with beef, pork and ham.
